WELCOME HEMISPHERE COLLEAGUES!

Following our purchase of global satellite navigation technology leader, Hemisphere, we would like to give a warm welcome to all our new colleagues.
In this edition of On the Ground, we will be looking at how the Arizona, USA-based company will strengthen our position as a leading technology provider for agriculture and construction.
We will also get to know some of their employees as they join the CNH family.
Leveraging Hemisphere's expertise and network, we are advancing our position as a leader in automation technology. Bringing their core competencies in-house will also simplify the delivery of a fully autonomous farming cycle, extending and improving automation and autonomy in both agriculture and construction.
None of this would be possible without the people behind this company’s great tech.
Alim Kanji leads the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Algorithms Team, which consists of a group of very talented and dedicated experts in positioning technology. He has worked for Hemisphere for 24 years after starting as an intern.

“Customers expect their equipment to work reliably regardless of the environment in which they operate. A farmer expects accurate position output irrespective of atmospheric conditions or their proximity to the tree line. This is where sophisticated algorithms are required to maximize performance.
The focus of the GNSS Algorithms Team is to provide the best possible position solution along with an accurate indication of confidence in that solution. It is remarkable how our small Hemisphere team has kept up with much larger competitors, and I am excited to see what we can achieve going forward with the CNH team.
When not at work I am an avid skier and enjoy paddle boarding, snorkeling, and hiking. I learned to play the keyboard when I was three years old. If I can whistle a song, I can play it on the keyboard. I also love to travel with my wife and two children.”
Lizzie Wertenberger has worked for Hemisphere as a Channel Marketing Manager for almost nine years. She creates strategies, tactics, activities and materials to communicate marketing messages to target markets.
“I help design, produce and distribute marketing materials and communications. I plan all tradeshows, dealer trainings, webinars and special promotions.
Every day is something new. I enjoy the variety of tasks I get to contribute to on a regular basis.
Through marketing efforts, we are able to reach new precision ag customers around the world. Our technology helps farmers everywhere feed the world.
I get to work closely with many different departments and get to see the impact of the entire Hemisphere technology portfolio.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family, outdoor activities, helping at church and cheering on my children in everything they do. My favorite line is…Eat, sleep, take kids to sports, repeat.”

Rachel Stankovic is a senior technical writer and has been with the Hemisphere team for six years developing company product management manuals and other customer-facing documentation.

Rachel Stankovic
“I am the link between product managers, engineers and other subject matter experts to create useful and accurate collateral that supports customer use and understanding of Hemisphere GNSS (HGNSS) products.
I translate these documents into various languages, helping to support HGNSS customers worldwide. Customers benefit from an accessible library of clear and consistent product content that assists them in learning how to operate and use HGNSS products.
There is always a lot to learn and it’s rewarding to find creative ways to bring that education to our customers.
I enjoy spending my free time traveling the world with my two children. We have visited 15 countries together and it’s very rewarding to see the educational benefits of travel for my children. I volunteer as a docent (guide) at the Phoenix Art Museum. As an avid walker and practitioner of yoga, I enjoy the outdoors and taking advantage of the beautiful weather in Arizona.”
