What excites you about the future of our company?
We are clearly rallying around our mission to help feed, fuel and build the world we live in. What an incredibly powerful and meaningful purpose.
What three words best describe your style of leadership?
Authentic, Objective and Empowering.
If you were one of our products, what would you be and why?
The four-wheel drive Case IH Quadtrac tractor. It’s badass. It’s strong. It does its job with grit and unrelenting drive and determination. It perseveres in any conditions and in any application. It can be confidently relied on to get the job done.
Have you ever had a mentor or someone who inspired you in your career?
This may be a bit unconventional. But I’d have to say my family. From my parents to my wife, kids and now grandchildren. All have inspired and motivated me to grow and be the best that I can be. As a person and as a leader.
How do you wind down after a busy workday?
This will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me. I play golf. It is the one place that I can truly disconnect, enjoy the outdoors, some physical activity, good company and maybe a cold beer (or two).

Tell us about yourself and where you are from?
I was born in Bonn, Germany and live with my family near Cologne. I am based in Turin, Italy for this role, but I will be traveling a lot across Europe to visit sites and meet people. I like to take a hands-on approach to my work.
What attracted you to join our company and what excites you about your role?
I have spent my professional career in the off-highway sector, specifically focusing on construction and agricultural machinery. When the opportunity arose, I didn’t hesitate. This role allows me to move along the value chain from the Tier 1 supplier side to the machine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
The agricultural technology industry is incredibly innovative, and with a growing global population, the demand for innovative solutions will continue to rise. I am proud to be part of CNH, where I can collaborate with a talented team to shape this journey together. The prospect of contributing to advancements in this field truly excites me and I look forward to making a meaningful contribution.

Open, fair and consistent.
Have you ever had a mentor or someone who inspired you in your career?
Yes, I had a mentor who supported me in my career for many years, especially during my early days as a leader. This person was a HR executive who spotted my potential and believed in me from the beginning. They provided invaluable guidance by helping me evaluate decisions from various perspectives, which allowed me to navigate challenges with greater confidence.
How do you wind down after a busy workday?
I usually have my running shoes with me, and running helps me clear my head and sort out my thoughts after a busy day at work. I enjoy spending the remaining free time on weekends with family and friends.
